The Tiny Basement Gym is the first gym you unlock, after completing the tutorial, it costs nothing and is the worst gym for both size and stats. Basement gyms require no prestige for upkeep and offer the worst stats of gyms for the best prices.
This gym attracts some of the worst gym equipment and trainers available, with the more prestigious refusing to work in such a small gym with no A/C.
